“Eco(nomic) boost for your match” was clearly the idea behind this rubber series. The focus of this generation was an excellent combination of a flexible, dynamic sponge with a grippy top sheet and a newly arranged pimple structure. In the harder versions (45° / 48° / 50°) the emphasis was on speed (eSpeed) without losing control; in the softer version (40°) it was on spin. eGrip / eSpeed / eSpin — optimal playing performance.

DGC40+ 2.0
One of the main reasons for the success of GEWO rubbers was the innovative DGC40+ surface technology, which means a consistent and reliable contact at the point where the ball meets the rubber. Its grippy surface structure also prevents the ball from slipping. With the latest generations of balls (for example the GEWO Select Pro 40+ ***) the surfaces had to be developed further, and so the DGC40+ “Dynamic-Grip-Concept” 2.0 was born. The surface was designed and refined specially for the demands of the newest balls. There is no stopping now!
