This interesting long-pimpled rubber still has a certain amount of grip and is meant for players who rely on blocking the opponent’s spin close to the table. The special rubber compound and pimple geometry, together with the Hallmark Super-Anti cellular layer, allow you to block incoming balls full of spin very precisely. Your blocks will have a flat trajectory and a surprising amount of backspin. With the PHOENIX, returning balls loaded with topspin becomes a walk in the park. Balls without spin can be answered aggressively and even with a little spin generated by the rubber itself.
