According to the manufacturer, this exceptional sponge thickness is offered in compliance with ITTF regulations.

The hard power sponge produces a particularly strong catapult effect and supports fast, powerful attacking strokes. The grippy topsheet with its inward-facing pimple structure combines this high level of dynamics with spin and control. The TTR Hunter Extrem is therefore aimed primarily at offensive players who prioritise speed and penetrating power.

Important Information for the 2.90 mm Version:

According to the manufacturer, the version with the 2.90 mm power sponge has a total thickness of 3.90 mm and is therefore close to the maximum permitted rubber thickness of 4.00 mm. Only use solvent-free table tennis glue for fitting and apply the glue as thinly as possible so that the permitted total thickness is not exceeded.

The rubber must not be tuned. According to the manufacturer, the use of tuners of any kind does not comply with the regulations and may cause the maximum permitted rubber thickness to be exceeded.
